Details: Kiwengwa Nursery & Primary School (KINS) is looking for a Primary Teacher to provide
academic support to children aged between 2-10 years. KINS is a small, independant,
non-profit school on the North East Coast of Zanzibar, which serves both international
and local students. We have small classes with mixed age groups, and multi levels. The
school is looking for someone who: • has a teaching certificate and can teach multi-
level/age classes. • will bring energy, creativity, flexibility and initiative to support groups
of children, including those with additional needs, in a busy classroom environment. • is
passionate in ensuring all our children reach their full potential with a commitment to
inclusion at the centre of their practice so all children become independent learners. •
has experience of working collaboratively with other professionals and supporting all
aspects of teaching and learning within the classroom including resource management. •
enjoys working indoors and outdoors in all weathers and can work on their own initiative.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus
4. Annual performance bonus (if applicable)
