Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Korean Advanced Preparatory Academy is looking for three high school teachers: 1
Math, 1 Science, and 1 History.
• The Math teacher will teach a combination of math classes from Pre-algebra
through Calculus.
• The Science teacher will teach a combination of classes from Biology, through
Advanced Physics.
• The History teacher will teach U.S. History, World History, U.S. Government, and
Economics
Teacher Benefit Package: Base pay starts at 28 million won for a 10-month school year;
additional pay for state certification, master’s degrees, years of teaching, teaching
endorsements in more than two areas, and additional pay for working during the January
and July academic programs. Most teachers make 32 to 34 million won or about 28 to 30
thousand U.S. dollars a year.
Additional Benefits: Medical insurance (you pay 3% for medical insurance each month),
free housing (you pay for utilities), free round trip airfare home each year, and $2,500 in
continuing education funds for each teacher, each year. Most teachers save half their
salaries each month. Expenses will be utilities, food, travel.
