The National Curriculum is divided into several phases called ”Key Stages”. We offer the
following Key Stages at TUIS:
Key Stage 1: ages 5-7 (Years 1 &2)
Key Stage 2: ages 7-11 (Years 3, 4 ,5 & 6)
Key Stage 3: ages 11-15 (Years 7, 8 & 9)

Information about TUIS
1. Class size: 19 to 20 students in each classroom. (max)
2. TUIS provides a full time assistant in Primary - Year 1, 2 & 3.
3. Computer, Project and Internet in each classroom.

5. Last School Day 25th of May 2017. Summer Break starts from the 26th of May 2017.
6. School begins for all Staff for the next academic year 2017-2018 on the 21st of August
2018.
7. School in session on the 1st of September 2018.
Cost of living: The cost of living is significantly low as compared to the West and other
neighboring countries of Uzbekistan. Most of our expat staff live just under US$300/- a
month.
