Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Details: We are looking for an experienced ESL teacher for our Chinese partner school (Beijing
Foreign Languages School Affiliated to BFSU) from
September 2017 to June 2018. If the candidate finishes this posting successfully and is
an Ontario certified teacher, a position will be available to
them at SuOn International Academy in Toronto.
About Us
SuOn International Academy (SIA) is a private high school registered with the Ontario
Ministry of Education in Toronto. It is overseen by the
JIFEE (Jiangsu International Foundation for Educational Excellence). We provide
education to Chinese students who are interested in pursuing
their post-secondary studies in North America. Students who attend our school receive
their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) upon
graduation. We have partner schools and programs in China and have many educational

The school is located in a neighbourhood outside of central Beijing and is easily
accessed by subway. The school is K – 12 and has excellent,

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop curriculum based on Chinese and Ontario education systems.
Teach ESL to different classes, with a focus on speaking and writing skills. Depending
on qualifications, teachers may teach other subject
areas.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experienced English language teacher
Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
Experience through employment in teaching academic curriculum and in lesson
planning
A passion for teaching
Flexibility and adaptability in new cultures and environments
Basic knowledge of Chinese culture and languages is an asset (but not required)
Teaching Load
Class size: Up to 35 students grades 7-9
Teaching time: 30 hours/week. A 5-day week.
Renumeration and benefits
