Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Details: Jalan Private School in Jalan, Oman is a small and vibrant school advertising vacancies
for two native English speaking KG and Primary English teachers to start in August 2017.
The candidates who wish to apply should have experience teaching English Language
Arts, Math and Science to KG / Primary students.
They will possess a minimum of two year teaching experience with the proper teaching
credentials.
Job Details:
• Work hours: 8 hour work day, 5 days a week Sunday to Thursday
• Teaching hours: Up to 28 periods per week plus occasional cover duties
Job Duties include:
- teach their assigned teaching load
- provide a minimum of two weekly or more remedial classes
- attend school socials, parent-teacher conferences as well as staff and
department meeting,
which may take place outside of regular school hours
- supervise students during eventual field trips
- supervise students during outdoor breaks.
As can be expected in this part of the world, the weather is very hot in the
summer months and most days, staff will still have to perform some outdoor supervisory
duties during
morning and afternoon breaks
- provide substitution for eventual absent colleagues according to their
availability
Any other activities might be assigned by the management during working
hours
