Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Details: Acorn is an exciting new venture under Anglo-Chinese management. We are in a prime
location right next to Fuzhou’s most popular tourist location in the heart of the city, 3
minutes walk from Dong Jie Kou underground station. Our emphasis is on high-quality
graded, blended learning using quality teaching materials and interactive chalkboards.
We are not a ”language factory”. We seek experienced, native English speaking teachers
and hope to achieve a fair balance of the sexes in the staff room. You will primarily teach
young learners from 5-18 years old. You need to be smart and presentable with no
visible tattoos or facial piercing. Acorn is a fledgling organisation, but with a clear target
of establishing our brand as a market leader across the whole of China, so career
development opportunities are available for teachers wishing to work long term in China
and grow with the company.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for a Chinese Z (Work) visa, you must have a Bachelors degree
minimum, plus a recognised CELTA or TESOL qualification.

* 10,000 RMB per month salary.
