The successful candidate collaborates closely with all other members of the program
team to provide nurturing care and education to young students in a group setting, under
the supervision of the school Vice-Principal; and in accordance with the goals and
curriculum plans and the philosophy and policies of the school.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the constant supervision, safety and well-being of the students;
• Recognizes and responds to the needs of each student by using developmentally;
appropriate teaching and student behaviour management techniques;
• Assist in planning and developing school programs in accordance with CIAC
curriculum;
• Understand and follow all school’s policies, protocols, and management’s directions;
• Establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with co-
workers, and building a positive working relationship;
• Ensures the program operates at all times in compliance with all CIAC curriculum
and standards;
• Observes and records relevant information on each student’s progress as
required/as per school practices;
• Attends and participates actively in all programs/ school, parental or other meetings
as required;
• Shares responsibility for maintaining program equipment in good repair; assists with
toy/equipment disinfecting;
• Shares responsibility for maintaining the play environments and storage areas in an
organized and clutter-free condition;
• Participates in regular fire drills and other emergency procedures;
• Engages in positive collaboration with the other programs and teachers of the
school in coordinating the effective use of equipment, facilities and personnel;
• Participates in ongoing professional development and attends/maintains all
mandatory training;
• Participates in the supervision, training and mentoring of new teachers;
• Assists the school directors in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by
promptly reporting any existing and/or potential workplace hazards.
Essential Skills:
Stress management, reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication,
working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, Job task planning
and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, computer use, continuous
learning education
Level of Experience & Hiring Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education certificate is an asset
• Other teaching certificate is an asset
• Native English language is a must (speak, read, and write English)
• Other language spoken beside English is an asset

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
