- AP/A-level Biology Teacher
Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)
Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus
4. Annual performance bonus (if applicable)

Our company has developed a new teaching and language sharing platform in the form
of an mobile app that will connect freelance teachers with language learners, and we will
finally be launching the product in the next two months.
We are in the process of recruiting the first users of the app, and in order to achieve a
reputation of quality among the student-users, we are screening for teacher-users that
will be innovative and unique in their teaching approaches and styles. We want the
teachers to be:
• friendly and upbeat
• creative
• dedicated
• facile with technology
• aware of a variety of language-acquisition methodologies
Teachers will set their own prices with an absolute minimum of $15, and a suggested
range of $15 and $20 USD per 50-60-minute segment.
PLEASE NOTE, we are not offering employment. Teachers are freelance and
independent, and will receive compensation directly from the students via the app for
their services. The app is a platform that provides a space for teacher-student interaction
as well as payment. Please do not apply if what you are seeking is a job or contract, as
this is not what is being offered.
If you think that you might enjoy such a platform and are qualified, please submit your CV
and a cover letter. Teachers must have some type of TEFL qualification, and a degree is
helpful. That being said, our search focuses mostly on methodology and teaching style,
