Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations

Details: Memorial International School of Tirana is seeking to appoint an experienced and flexible English teacher for KS3 to KS5, to work with both first and second language students up to and including A Level. There is some flexibility available within the role, depending on the strengths and background of the appointee.
MIST is a well-established K-12 school following the Cambridge International Curriculum for all year groups, in co-ordination with the requirements of the Albanian Ministry of Education. CIE exams (Checkpoint, IGCSE and A Level) are offered throughout the school and experience of the CIE curriculum is preferred.
Strong candidates will be able to offer:
• a perfect native knowledge of English
• a first degree in English, Literature, Linguistics or similar
• a national teaching qualification
• familiarity with current developments in education and a thoughtful, responsive approach to differentiation and assessment
• several years experience of teaching at a similar level (Middle and High School), including internationally and with EAL students, in full-curriculum schools
• a creative, innovative and energetic teaching style
• good planning and classroom management skills
• commitment to consistently high standards and personal development
The ability to offer a social science (with a degree in that subject and specific subject experience at secondary level) would also be an asset.
Experience of developing and leading an Accelerated English programme for new students would be an added advantage, as would be leadership experience. Extra responsibility, including the Head of English role, may be available to a suitable candidate.
