Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

range of ages and levels. Located in the ever-expanding ’Fortune Plaza’ in downtown Yuyao, IEC’s
location means
both Chinese and Western amenities are close by, including Starbucks, Burger King, Dairy Queen

IEC runs a number of ”Kids Courses”, from kindergarten age to high school as well as business
and general English
for adults, IELTS exam preparation classes and other stand alone classes.
Currently, IEC has a small team of foreign teachers but due to high demand is having to expand,

Working Hours & Classes
Most classes are 30 minutes - 10 minutes break - 35 minutes. Class sizes vary, but usually no

students per class.

yet been set, below is a rough idea how what a typical schedule looks like:

WED: 14:00pm - 20:30pm
THU: 14:00pm - 20:30pm

SAT: 9:00am - 20:30pm
SUN: 9:00am - 17:15pm
All teachers have the same two consecutive days off each week.
