Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations

Details: Prestigious International School in Ningbo, China is Hiring for at Least Two Positions:
1. SAT Tutor (230-280,000 RMB per annum)
2. A-Level Tutors -- Maths & Sciences & Others (250-300,000 RMB per annum); the current priority
is for maths and sciences but all experienced A-Level subject teachers may apply
Package: In addition to the salary, a free, two-bedroom apartment off-campus (but close by) is
provided for all teachers. Teachers will receive an annual travel allowance (10,000 yuan), as well
as free medical insurance. Paid holidays include 1.5 months over the summer and 20 days over
the winter holiday.
Location: Ningbo, China
Contract Status: The positions are available starting 27 August 2018, although later start dates may
be negotiable. 1 or 2
year contracts available.
Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week; maximum of 18 teaching hours per week.
Job Outline: For the academic year 18/19, a prestigious, British university-affiliated high school will
launch a new A-Level program. This A-Level center is the official high-school affiliate of Nottingham
University in China, and the teachers will receive excellent support and resources.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the design and delivery of a high-quality SAT or A-
Level curriculum. The current priority for the A-level role is for math and science A-level teachers,
though candidates with all A-level experience are encouraged to apply.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teaching up to a maximum of 18 hours per week.
• Development of curriculum and classroom materials
• Pastoral care of students, tracking and reporting student progress.
• Administrative duties relating to teaching
• Effective liaison with the other members of the English language teaching staff and
management Team.
• Any other reasonable duties appropriate to the post.
Requirements:
• First degree in subject specialism
• Significant full-time experience in the subject area
• Experience & confidence in curriculum development
• Ability to work in a diverse, international Team
• English as a first language, or equivalent English language competence.
