Details: Schedule: Full-time, 10 month contract position. Can be extended.
30+ working hours a week.
Department: School and Preschool
Reporting to: Head of the School
Instruct school students using various pedagogical methods. Prepare course objectives and outlines of study following curriculum guidelines and the requirements of the school. Assign lessons and assesses student progress, records results, and issues regular reports to administration. To coach, advice, counsel, support or otherwise help, encourage and motivate students to achieve success both inside and outside of the classroom. In support of the character development program, is to serve as a motivating role model and to provide instruction to assist the students in their development of strong moral and ethical values.
Responsibilities:
Planning/teaching daily (class size 16-24 students)
Use your own authentic teacher person to build strong relationships with students and engage students in deep learning
Inform the students about the academic rules, regulations, policies and standards.
Participate and attend in Faculty Meetings, Department Meetings and In-Service Days.
Attendance is mandatory for School Professional Development Day.
Attend Opening Day Ceremony, Graduation Day Ceremony, Concerts, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and other events as required.
Support the development of students outside of the classroom in accordance with your personal plan of involvement as approved by the Head of the School.
Maintain academic records, grades and lesson plans.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the School.

Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team in a positive, constructive manner.
Well-organized, detail oriented, self-starter, ability to write and communicate effectively, works well under pressure.

7.Working time: Monday to Friday; no more than 20 teaching hours /week, Office hour:8:00-17:00

Requirements:
1.Native speakers preferred
2.Under 60 years old, in good health condition, without criminal record
3.Bachelor’s Degree or above
4.At least three years full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject in public or independent schools, Chinese student teaching experience preferred.
5.Strong communication abilities including speaking and writing
6.Passionate about teaching and dedicated to student outcomes.
7.Wide-ranging intellectual and educational interests and ability to commit to a creative, integrated curriculum
8.Must respect China’s politics on religion, moral standards and customs
9.Arrival Date: You are expected to arrive at our university before Aug. 31st, 2020 for the Fall semester.
10: Contract Length: two years above
Employment package:
1.Basic Salary: 15000-30000RMB per month before tax (depending on your qualifications)
2.Airfare Allowance: 10000RMB/year
3.Living allowance: 2000RMB per month
4.Housing allowance: 3000RMB per month
