Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations

environmental impact. Students come away understanding the career opportunities in the
transportation industry, and they are encouraged to pursue college degrees that prepare them for

• Availability for the duration of the program
• Chaperoning students during field trips
• Managing student behavior during classes
• Collecting program materials and delivering them to/from MTI or SJSU
• Aiding/ delivering hands-on activities that enhance the student’s learning experience
• Assisting in communication with parents/guardians as necessary
• Reporting to MTI’s workforce development coordinator
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in education, urban planning, recreation, environmental science, or
equivalent
• Proven leadership skills with previous youth program experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time in order to fully participate in related field
trips and classroom activities
