Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

HOMEROOM TEACHERS
Foreign and Chinese primary teachers share homeroom and teaching responsibilities in our Primary Department. Classrooms and teachers are well-supported with resources such as classroom materials, teaching supplies, and various student texts as well as guidance, professional development opportunities, and collaborative department/group meetings.
Our current teachers exhibit a combination of experiences, qualifications, and personality that fits with our mission. Therefore, OCIS is willing to consider a variety of experiences and education to locate the best candidate for our school.
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong English communication skills
• Degree(s) in Education, Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, and/or English
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a KG to 6th grade school setting as a full-time classroom teacher
