Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Details: Chosen Ltd, an education agency registered and based in Dili, is recruiting EFL teachers for a tender for a proposed intensive ESL (Military, Further Education, Teacher Training and Numeracy) Language Program for military personnel, near Dili, Timor-Leste.
The teaching is to be conducted on-site in a modern military training facility in an EFL centre by a small team consisting of a Program Manager, Senior Teacher and other teaching staff.
The teaching role also includes mentoring and integrating trainee Timorese English teachers into the program (including observations and mentoring). There is significant scope for professional development as the teacher will also participate in syllabus and materials design as part of an ongoing curriculum review, as well as taking part in professional development.
Contract Length: Academic Year Contract (three-semester academic year), extendable up to 3 years.
Required Availability: January 2020 for the 2020 Academic Year.
Required Qualifications (Education and Experience):
a) University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education;
b) CELTA or equivalent (e.g. Trinity TESOL Certificate);
c) Demonstrated TESOL teaching experience teaching adults across a range of TESOL levels;
d) Minimum 2 years teaching experience in adult classes.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
a) Experience with student management systems;
b) Experience in developing countries, preferably in the Asia-Pacific or in Portuguese speaking countries; and
c) At least 2-year experience in numeracy teaching.
Remuneration:
• Salary is based on salary history, experience and qualifications.
• Minimum experience level starts at $18,000 per annum plus benefits.
• Full-experienced level starts at $26,400 plus benefits.
