1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;

1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;

Details: The Community Services and Continuing Education Department at Prince Sultan University is seeking applicants for the position of English Language Lecturer/Language Instructor starting as soon as possible. We are looking for teachers who bring energy, enthusiasm and vitality to the classroom and who can link classroom teaching and learning to our students’ communicative needs and career objectives.
Most of our work is EFL General English for adult learners. We are an expanding department with an excellent reputation within the Kingdom. At the moment we have about 600 full time students with new programs beginning after the summer.
MALE CANDIDATES ONLY
Consistent with current cultural norms in Saudi Arabia, female students, faculty and administration are segregated from their male counterparts in all aspects of our programs. Please note we are accepting applications from male candidates only.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Native Speakers of English with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in TEFL/TESL, Applied Linguistics or a related subject, or a Bachelor’s degree plus a CELTA and/or a post-graduate diploma in EFL/ESL;
2. Three years’ minimum overseas teaching experience in EFL/ESL, preferably with one year in the Middle East;
3. Ability to operate a computer and use software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and other classroom support applications;
4. Experience in integrating technology into the classroom;
5. Further advantages … but by no means essential … would be...Experience teaching Technical English, English for Engineering, or Business English

SALARY AND BENEFITS
We offer a one-year renewable contract (renewable subject to Dean/Director and student evaluation) and a competitive salary package based on academic qualification, rank and teaching experience.
Other benefits include:
1. medical insurance coverage for the employee & dependents residing within the Kingdom, (spouse & 4 children below 24 years of age);
2. Transport allowance;
3. Round trip tickets (maximum 4: employee, spouse and 2 children below 18 years of age) for annual leave with paid annual (summer) vacation of two (2) months, plus 2 local paid holidays of about 15 days each (as applicable);
4. Tuition fees of Saudi Riyals 30,000 maximum for children attending school within the Kingdom. Details will be specified in the contract.
5. Free, furnished accommodation plus essential utilities and maintenance will be provided subject to availability, OR the successful candidate will be provided a housing allowance based on academic rank.
6. End-of-service yearly gratuity of 50% a month’s salary for each year’s service starts after the 2nd year of continuous service.
