Details: Job description
British School Group (est. 1952) requires a teacher of Young Learners (3-13yrs) for its schools in the Basilicata region of Italy. The teacher will need to be able to engage students in fun and creative activities.
Our main school is based in Melfi (PZ), with two smaller branches in Lavello and Venosa. Melfi is a tranquil market town (pop. 18,000) with its own castle and lies at the foot of an extinct volcano.
Teachers can expect to teach at all three schools which are close to each other and for which transportation will be provided. The teachers room is stocked with a modest collection of materials for lesson-planning purposes. Coffee and tea-making facilities are available. Classrooms are equipped with portable audio players, some classrooms have projectors and interactive whiteboards. There is a photocopier for teachers use.
Requirements
Native English speakers. Non-natives at level C2 / CPE / IELTS 9 (proof of language level required).
PGCE, B.Ed, CELTYL, or CELTA.
EU citizens. Non-EU citizens with valid working papers for Italy.
Salary and benefits
contract start: last week of Sep 2019 > end of May 2020
salary: EUR1,100 net per month + end-of-contract bonus + overtime pay (if applicable)
hours: 24 classroom hrs per week
paid breaks: national holidays, Christmas, Easter

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
