Details: We are a Gyopo run academy running small intimate classes (6 students per class). Our aim is to provide quality education based on high engagement with the teachers.
We have a strong curriculum based on North American standards which provide teachers with the framework to build a positive and enriching class atmosphere.
Although training, curriculum, and syllabus are provided, ideally the candidate is someone who is always looking to improve and learn in order to better the learning experience for the students.
We think that our positive environment gives professional teachers guidance and freedom to teach to the best of their abilities and hone their professional skills.
The teacher will mainly be teaching a phonics program to Kindy (7-years-old) to Elem (Grade 1-3).
Most of these classes are beginners and being able to understand and speak some Korean will be beneficial (100% fluency not required).
They will also teach some speaking based classes for upper elem-middle school (ability: low-intermediate ~ high intermediate)
Ideally, the teacher should also be comfortable with parent communication and should be able to manage the parent feedback, but support can be provided.

* Classes
* Currently 4.5-5.5 hrs of teaching per day (subject to change but within working hours)
* Roughly 1-2 hrs of prep/grading time per day will be provided
**Main classes (90% of the job)**
* Ability: Beginner. Class is focused on Phonics and Speaking, but current students are nearing the end of the program and are starting to read and write words and simple sentences.
* Age Range 7 - Grade 3

* Speaking classes for upper elem, middle school

1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
