Details: Student Academic Achievement
Prepares students to meet academic testing requirements (internal, state-mandated and federal-mandated) and to achieve academic growth by implementing SABIS® curriculum and philosophy to the classes he or she is assigned to teach; facilitates and communicates knowledge and strategies for learning to students; administers/proctors tests that are approved by the school, and correct all daily work and exams; monitors academic progress of entire class and individual students
Use of Point System™
Applies the three-step teaching cycle consistently and efficiently by implementing SABIS® curriculum and philosophy to the classes he or she is assigned to teach; plans points, instruction, and practice work to maximize learning; manages group work effectively; maintains an appropriate pace in every class he or she is assigned to teach; ensures that student learning occurs in class; uses the SABIS® method of academic prefects

Educating Students
Spends majority of the day standing in the classroom. While standing teachers frequently hold light objects they are working with and demonstrating, etc. from waist level to slightly above the teacher’s head.
Teacher must move about the classroom and be able to maneuver in tight spaces between desks, etc. Teachers may kneel, squat, stoop, and/or bend on an occasional to frequent basis. Teachers occasionally to frequently use a chalkboard or whiteboard, which can require grasping chalk, eraser, and/or whiteboard
pens, reaching at, below, or above shoulder height and may require trunk or neck rotation to look back at the class. Teachers with physical education classroom duties occasionally lift, using one or both arms while assisting children. Teachers may have playground duties, which involve walking on even or uneven surfaces. Teachers may use computers, overhead projectors, TV, VCR, etc., which may require an
approximately 10 pound force to push or pull equipment. It is also necessary to bend, squat, kneel, etc. when working with equipment, plugging it in, etc. Teachers may move children’s desks and chairs to
change the layout of the classroom to influence the learning situation. It is occasionally necessary to lift and carry boxes weighing up to approximately 50 pounds from various locations in the school building— distances vary. Teachers must sit on an occasional basis when

Ⅱ. Positions Available
Senior High School (Grade 10-12)
- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
