Details: The English Language Centre is in Villa San Giovanni (RC) Italy, a small quiet town facing Sicily, Villa offers all the essential facilities and is 15 minutes train away from the central city of Reggio Calabria and 20 min. ferry away from Sicily.
TELC is a lively and organised English language school and a Cambridge Exam Preparation Centre with over 20 yrs experience in the South of Italy. The school is proud of its friendly but well organised atmosphere.

DETAILS OF POSITION
TO APPLY YOU NEED TO HAVE A EUROPEAN PASSPORT OR VALID DOCUMENTS TO WORK IN ITALY
A position has become available which involves 25 teaching hours per week, mainly in the afternoon, there is an average of between 4 or 5 lessons per day. Planning, admin and meetings are not part of the 25 hours weekly teaching hours.
This is mainly a YL teaching position, ages 4+, as well as potentially some young adults. The teachers are given all the appropriate material and support required. Each class is equipped with interactive board and white boards. Classes last 1.20 minutes.
Lesson will be held in presence or on-line.
Teachers all have set classes while some of the individual lessons may vary weekly.
Regular meetings and training sessions (including exam training sessions) are held regularly.
We need 1 teacher from October 2023 to the beginning of June 2024, with the possibility to carry on working in June.
Possibility of renewing the contract to the next Academic Year.
We help finding suitable accommodation in the centre of Villa, near the school.
You need to have the necessary paperwork to work in Italy or Europe to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS
Teachers must have a Celta (not on-line) certificate and a YLE certificate or referenced experience in the YLE exam, Cambridge adults exams, and teaching field. We are looking for an engaging, reliable, well prepared teacher, who loves teaching and being part of a team. At least one year’s teaching experience is preferable.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Starting at 11500 Euro net per month with 1-year experience, the contract is up to 25 teaching hours per week.
You are still paid your full salary if under your working hours.
Christmas, Easter and Bank Holidays all paid.
Teaching days are from Monday to Friday.
Legal contract with Italian contributions paid.
Help with finding accommodation in the centre of Villa.
Possibility of renewing contract for next teaching year.
