- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus
4. Annual performance bonus (if applicable)

Details: American Eagle Institute is a renowned, high quality English school in Taiwan. Our primary goal is to develop a method of language learning which allows children to listen, to speak, to read, and to write in English without having to translate from their native language. We do this first by introducing an immersion style of learning where only English is permitted inside the classroom. In order to create a true immersion classroom environment, we hire teachers whose native language is English to teach the students. These teachers are there to not only provide a means for Asian students to learn English, but they also provide a channel for the students to understand different western cultures.
We are recruiting serious, reliable, responsible, passionate, friendly and professional English teachers. First time teachers are also welcomed. We will provide most curriculums and activities, and there are some online or in-person trainings provided. We are a new branch and we welcome you to join us!
For full time position
1. working hours:
In semester
Mon.-Fri. (except for Tue.): 10:30-19:30 (with 1 hour break)
Tue.: 13:00-19:30
(20 teaching hours)
[During summer vacation or winter vacation, working hours will be different.]
2. Working duties:
teaching, lesson planning, material preparation, writing monthly exam reports, biweekly communication corners, and participation in school activities such as speaking contest, spelling bee, festival activities and so on when required
3. Subjects:
We provide a well-planned curriculum with complete teaching materials. Teaching subjects include Grammar, Science, scientific experiments, art and crafts and storytelling.
Benefits:
1. Salary is at least 65000-72000 NTD with other bonus. If you are an experienced teacher, the salary is negotiable.
2. We will help you apply for work permit and find accommodation. National Health Insurance and Labor Insurance are provided
Qualifications:

3. Valid certified teaching license/TESOL or TEFL certificates
