Requirements: - Post Graduate Certification in Education (PGCE) with Bachelor of English or Bachelor of English Education or Bachelor of English with 10 years of experience as an English teacher in educational programs International or national educational programs for expat and English native speaker.
Job Description:
Complete all duties as per the Teacher JD plus:
• As Head of Department, instructs teachers to prepare lessons that deliver diverse needs of children.
• Responsible to ensure that teachers take the responsibility for children’s learning and development.
• Ensures that the pedagogical approach of staff across the department is inclusive and enjoyable for students in order to maximize learning and progression.
• Suggests current and innovative learning methods for and to the children.
• Ensures that lessons are oriented towards experimental learning so that students understand the application of the subject.
• Monitors the student’s discipline, attendance and health and wellbeing.
• Attends preparation for school national day and other planned celebrations throughout the year.
• Implements school policies and procedures.
• Guides and supervises members of the department to prepare teaching materials, posters and learning tools to ensure that classroom teaching will deliver strong academic performance of the students.
• Responsible for management and performance of teaching faculty in the department.
• Ensures proper implementation of the school’s approved curriculum and
all its associated assessment and certification requirements across all phases of the school.
• Demonstrates commitment to the personal growth and development of staff and students at all levels, enabling them to develop the skills necessary to achieve outstanding success.
• Ensures compliance with statutory rules and regulations mandated by government authorities.
• Supports AP in preparation of timetable for the assigned grades.
• Supports AP in delivering assemblies and gatherings.
• Supports AP in the supervision of the regular parents-teacher meetings.
• Represents the school during inspections, accreditation, and other external visits.
• Advises SLT on annual budget requirements for their department.
• Generates statistics and reports on the operation of assigned grades.
• Promotes good attendance and follows up on excessive tardiness and absenteeism.
• Conducts parents’ meetings to inspire gifted and talented students and students under the inclusion program.
• Completes additional assignments given by the management.
• Ensures professional flow of communication and regular updates to the management.
• The nature of the responsibility of the position may alter at the discretion of HASIS Management in order to undertake duties in another capacity in line with reasonable and lawful requirements.

Ⅱ. Positions Available
Senior High School (Grade 10-12)
- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
