Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Details: We are looking for an experienced teacher or coordinator that is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be joining a dynamic team of experts that will work together to help children with additional educational needs to access a mainstream classroom curriculum and thrive. This is the first school in Oman to implement the Applied Behaviour Analysis approach to learning. All members of staff will receive continuous in-house training on ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) which will be invaluable to your career in education.
Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of Lower Primary School
• Provide strategic direction and promote the aims of the school through the implementation of school policies
• To ensure that appropriate priorities and targets for improvement of pupils’ learning are identified and necessary resources are clearly allocated
• Oversee development, organization, and implementation of Primary School Curriculum
• Oversee pupil assessments and monitoring of academic standards
• Support and motivate all Primary Staff
• Oversee planning and allocation of resources designed to facilitate planned curriculum
• Evaluate teacher’s performance and monitor throughout the year
• Facilitate parent meetings with necessary staff members, ie. Teachers, therapists.
• Manage resource budget and order items for the LP department such as art and craft supplies, consumables for events etc.
• Create pacing charts for all year groups for terms 2 and 3 (term 1 will be given as a guideline to be added to and amended based on continuous assessment.
• Implement individual support plans for students once consulting with therapists and class teachers to gather information.
• Create school literature and manage school information on school application.
• Initiate learning incentives, competitions, and rewards
• Hold weekly meetings with staff members
• Contribute to the effective and efficient overall management of the school.
• Use critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions, and make decisions.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent with 1 year of proven experience in a leadership role
Or
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent with 3 years of proven experience in a Lower Primary teaching position
Or
• Bachelor’s degree plus a teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education with six years of proven experience as a Lower Primary teacher.
Any leadership or coordinator experience is desirable.
