Details: 1 position available: EP Chemistry Teacher
General Science specialized in Chemistry (Grades 7-12)
Qualifications:
1. Native Speakers of English (RP/GA): UK, US, AUS, NZ, Canada, Western Europe or South Africa.
2. Hold a valid non-b, non-o, or tourist visa.
3. Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) from a recognized institution and have some teaching experience.
3. Have a degree in the specified subject area. A degree in Education or PGCE is preferable.
4. Have a teaching license issued by the Teachers’ Council of Thailand, or have been granted a temporary teaching permit from the Teachers’ Council of Thailand not more than 2 times. A teaching license from another country is a plus.
5. Hard worker who views teaching as a profession.
Duties:
1. Homeroom teacher duties:7.30-8.30 am., and 3.30-4.00 pm.
2. Take part and assist in all school activities, sometimes on weekends.
3. 20 periods (Max) per week (50 minutes per period) with approx. 30-36 students per class.
4. Work with a partner/co-teacher (Thai nationality).
5. Prepare teaching materials, and lesson plans, design worksheets and exams, and mark homework.
Details and Benefits:
1. Salary starting from ฿71,000 a month net before tax, and social security deduction.
2. Lunch included
3. Personal leave of 3 days, sick leave of 30 days (A medical report for sick leave exceeding 3 consecutive days is required.), vacation leave of 6 days only after 1 year of working.
4. During the school break from April to May, teachers are required to sign in every day.
