Vinschool Education System is seeking dynamic, dedicated and experienced teachers of
Maths and Science to join our international teaching team. Successful applicants will
teach Maths or Science classes at Primary or Secondary school level and will be
responsible for educating their students following the requirements of the relevant
Cambridge International Examinations curriculum. The successful applicant will be
suitably qualified and experienced, as well as being fully committed to supporting the
development of their students through curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Position Summary:
This is an instructional position with responsibility for guiding and directing the learning of
classes of students following the Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
• Teaching Math / Science to students according to the requirements of the
Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum.
• Establishing and enforcing rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order
among the students.
• Observing and evaluating student performance, behavior, social development and
physical health.
• Preparing syllabuses, lesson plans, reports and other teaching materials for class
activities.
• Adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying
needs and interests.
• Conferring with parents or guardians, teachers and administrators in order to resolve
students’ behavioral and academic problems.
• Meeting with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
• Attending faculty meetings, professional development meetings and parents
meetings.
• Preparing and implementing remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
• Participating in department and school events.
• Planning and working on extracurricular activities such as clubs, academic contests,
etc.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Education:
Teaching degree OR degree and teaching qualification/licence is essential, preference
will be given to those graduating with honors, with Master’s degree.
Experience:
Experience of teaching Primary or Secondary school students Maths or Science
(experience of preparing learners for Cambridge International Examinations is
preferable).
