Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Details: 1.1 College and Career Advisement
• Provides group and individual counseling to students and parents regarding all areas of college guidance, including, but not limited to, college entrance exams and preparation, college search and selection, college research and goal focused high school planning.
• Understand the college admission process at a variety of institution types and selectivity levels.
• Counsels students regarding educational issues such as course and program selection, class scheduling, dropping and adding classes and college/career planning.
• Creates and submits materials to colleges in support of college applicants, including transcripts, references/recommendations, scholarships awards.
• Work with faculty to integrate college-related skills (i.e., essay writing, interviewing techniques, self-assessment tools etc.) into regular curricula.
• Build and maintain relationships with admission professionals and coordinate college event planning and implementation.
• Collaborates with High School Faculty to develop and maintain community partnerships for work-study programs and internships.
• Collaborates with BOD Office to generate a schoolwide college preparation/awareness plan.
1.2 Parent and Student Communication
• Plans and conducts workshops for parents and students to discuss post-high school educational plans and options.
• Helps parents and students to understand and utilize the three-to-four year plan for career and college planning.
• Conducts college planning, financial aid and scholarship information sessions for high school families by organising different college workshops supported by external universities.
• Provides student and parent updates throughout the year on college application and scholarship information and deadlines.
• Follow up as appropriate via email, telephone, and/or Google Meet.
• Meet individually with student(s) and parents/to explore and identify appropriate college options. Communicate regularly with counselees.

• Oversees testing programs (PSAT, ACT, AP and aptitude instruments) and collaborates with Program Coordinators to develop Test prep courses.
• Analyzes data and uses results to inform stakeholders regarding school improvement; interpret cognitive/aptitude/achievement tests; analyze grade point average in relationship to achievement.
• Monitor individual student progress throughout the college application process.
• Tracks trends in admissions and college counseling fields.
1.4 Administration & General Responsibilities
• Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists and contact lists.
• Prepares an annual report on the post high school plans of graduates.
• Manages the dual credit enrollment program and serves as the liaison between higher education dual enrollment partners and WASS.
• Handle incoming inquiries and requests and prepare written responses to routine inquiries.
• Serves as a student advisory group leader for academic and personal growth and encouragement.
