Details: The English Preparatory Program at Ibn Haldun University in Istanbul, Turkey is seeking qualified EFL/EAP full-time instructors for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Requirements:
- have a Bachelor’s degree in ELT or any related field + CELTA/DELTA;
- have a Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or any related field + DELTA (desired);
- have at least two years of experience teaching EAP/ESL at the tertiary level;
- have experience in testing and material development;
- project cultural awareness and be able to work with a culturally diverse team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- teach 18-20 hours weekly (Friday work from home);
- use interactive teaching methods to promote critical thinking;
- contribute to curriculum development and create materials compatible with IHU students’ needs, lacks, and wants;
- project familiarity with technological applications in education;
