Details: We seek an experienced and outstanding Mathematics teacher to join our excellent team. They will be able to inspire our incredible students with a genuine commitment to their academic and personal development and make a considerable contribution to our department.
The successful candidate will need to provide an excellent educational experience for students.
Classes are for English-speaking students located in the United States and this is a Remote , work-from-home position.
Minimum Requirements:
A degree in Education or Colombian ”Licenciatura” in Education, a PhD in Mathematics field(s) is preferred.
A solid work experience that ranges from 3-5 years minimum.
Ability to fluently speak, read and write English.
Solid internet connection.
Must be “tech savvy” and comfortable learning new software.
Professional home area to conduct remote classes.
Duties:
1. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for non-political core subject classes. Create the curriculum (on digital platform provided by the Company) based on the needs of the student(s). We would pay all pre-approved expenses needed for creating curriculum (ex: licensing fees, etc).
2. Translate lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction.
3. Evaluates students’ academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports.
4. Comfortable with remote learning, keeping the child engaged, and on task.
5. Recommends books and instructional aids as required.
6. Administers standardized tests in accordance with state testing program.
