Type of position: Service contract
Our Academy was created in 2001 for enhancing learning and teaching opportunities including constriction training courses in Isfara. Since then we have improved Olympiads approaches and many it’s learners fulfilled their academic excellency.
We are seeking experienced, dynamic and highly motivated subject teachers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Security and Safety
1. Work in accordance with OIS staff and security policies;
2. Ensure the safety of teaching materials and OIS property (books, computers, TV set, audio sets, desks and chairs) following OIS staff and security policies;
3. Make sure the classroom is in good order (desks and chairs in place, whiteboard cleaned-up) at the end of each class;
4. Make sure teaching materials are safe (all IOS teaching books must be collected back from students and the computer and Projectors set must be in functioning order).
5. Be on time for the start of each class;
2. Session and class preparation
1. Prepare daily weekly plans according to her/his subject curriculum;
2. Follow and respect the class schedule (changes included);
3. Learn and use up-to-date methods of teaching;
4. Use audio and video resources for your lessons:
5. Search for, work out and use new teaching materials and contents aiming at improving the quality of teaching;
3. Follow-up of class activities
1. Make sure that students do their homework;
2. Correct written exercises given to students as homework;
3. Organize monthly interim tests,
4. Work out language examination tests one week before the final examination session, and provide them to students;
5. Get prepared to the final examination session in due time;
6. Correct interim and final examination tests;
7. Attend teachers’ monthly meeting.
Qualifications
• Super interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students and colleagues
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Diploma of Higher Education from Teachers college/pedagogical University
• Experience in teaching at least 2 years
• Any International certificates are welcomed
